Mycestro Wearable Mouse

It's been a long time since I wrote about strange computer mice on here. You wear this mouse on your index finger and you move the arrow by holding the side of it with your thumb.  According to the manufacturer's website the inventor (Nick Mastandrea) saw somebody struggling to use a normal computer mouse on an airplane and he came up with this idea. Cordless Electric Snow Blower Shovel

I know Spring just started and nobody wants to talk about winter anymore but I'm gonna talk about this anyway. During this winter I came up with the idea that we need a snow blower that is also a shovel. Unfortunately somebody else has already beat me to it and invented it and once again I didn't get to invent something. Unlike a normal snow blower you don't have to put oil or gas in this and there's no pull cords either. To make it work you just have to charge the battery. N°41 Workout Computer

One thing most people don't know about me is I can type 80 words per minute. I don't think I would be able to do that with this keyboard. Instead of a normal keyboard the letters are on separate punching bags which you have to punch to type. This was just presented at the Istanbul Design Biennial. I can't find anywhere to buy this yet so if you think it's a good idea and want this than you'll have to find it yourself.

More Than Just A Banana Piano

Edible Email Notifier

This device was made for something called Maker Faire. It rewards you with m&ms every time you open an email. Finally you can look forward to being scammed by a Nigerian Prince or some ghost girl trying to kill you because you didn't send an email to 50 people because at least you will be rewarded for it. Remote Control Mop

It took me all year but I've finally found something that's weird enough for this site. I didn't update the site last year because I couldn't find any electronics or gadgets that people thought were strange. Well anyway, here is a cleaning tool for the lazy people. It's a remote control mop. It comes with a controller that kind of looks like a Playstation controller to control it. The Tongue Drive System

The Tongue Drive system was made at Georgia Tech. It allows people who are unable to use their hands to use a computer or a wheelchair. The user has to get their tongue pierced than it will be able to track what your tongue does through magnetic sensors in a retainer so it can replace the computer mouse or a joystick on a wheelchair. It used to have head mounted magnetic sensors but the headgear was uncomfortable and had to be recalibrated whenever it slipped.

Bringrr

If you're always forgetting your cell phone than you might want this. It's called Bringrr. You plug this into your car's power port and it will turn blue if it can find your bluetooth enabled cell phone. If you don't have it or if it's turned off or dead it will beep and turn red. Pantone Color Cue 2.1

If you're painting your house right now than you might want this. This is called the Pantone Color Cue 2.1. It scans colours and tells you the closest pantone colour that matches it so you know what to buy. I have shown a few different computer mice on here and now I've found one that you don't even have to move. This device that looks like a dog watches your hand and moves the arrow according to your hand gestures. You can buy one here:

Dual Sided Remote

Later this year Samsung is releasing a new remote that has buttons on both sides. It will have the normal buttons on top and a QWERTY keyboard on the back. I don't think it's a good idea because you could accidentally hit a button on the back while holding it or if you set it down on the table.

Iphone Connected Blood Pressure Monitor

Soon we will be able to check our blood pressure without going to a doctor or Shoppers Drug Mart because Withings has now made a blood pressure monitor that you can connect to your iphone. Swing Clock

Typewriter Joystick

This is a typewriter somebody has hacked so it can be connected to the computer and it also has a joystick for computer games. Unfortunately I can't find any information on where to buy this or about who made it. The keyboard is also missing the keys Q, W, E, A, S, D, Z, X, C.

Less Lamp
