Eclipse Touch Mouse

It's been a while since I've been able to find any weird computer mice. This one is called the Eclipse Touch Mouse. Unlike most mice it's in an L shape and it has a touch scroll button in the middle of it which helps you browse the web easier by holding the button down and moving it in one of these four ways.

Why I'm No Longer on Weird Universe

Back in June 2009 I started Forgotten and Unseen Electronics on Weird Universe. For some reason I can't remember how to post stuff on the site and I deleted the email that gave me the instructions. I've tried emailing Alex Boese to get him to send me the instructions again but he never replied to it so I decided to make my own blog instead of posting stuff on Weird Universe.

Spacebook

Sometime in the future a new computer is coming out called the Spacebook which is a dual screen laptop. It's made by a company called Gscreen. It will be able to run Windows 7 (which came out October 22, 2009). The price of it is expected to be under $3000.




Remote Control Ramen Noodle Cart

A lot of people would remember back on their eighth birthday (or younger) that they wanted a remote control car and when they got it, they realized after five minutes this isn't as good as the commercial made it look. Tyrant Clock

If you never get up early enough in the morning than you might want this alarm clock. It is called the Tyrant Clock. Unlike any other clock it will sync with your cell phone and call everyone on your contact list. It was designed by Alice Wang. Right now it's only a concept item so I don't know if it will ever be invented.

Plantbot

A while ago I showed you a plant that contacts you using Twitter. I have now found one that follows the sun so it can get all the light it needs called Plantbot. It's made by the people at Play Coalition.I think this would probably creep people out when they visit your house.


Asteroids Watch

If you liked the original Atari then you might want this watch.It's a watch with the Asteroids game on it. It was made by John Maushammer. He also has made another watch that you can play Pong on. Instead of using buttons you move your wrist to make the ship turn. It's not for sale anywhere because it isn't finished. There aren't any buttons to make the ship shoot.So until this guy makes the buttons, it fires automatically.

Finger Mouse

If you don't like the normal computer mouse you can buy the Finger Mouse. It's made by Brando and unlike a normal mouse you wear it as a ring and you have to hit the buttons using your thumb. You can buy one here:

Today I found a gadget for the computer called the Combimouse. It's a mouse and keyboard put together. It's not for sale anywhere yet because they are looking for an interested investor. I don't think this would be good to have because I don't see a left or right click button on it anywhere.

Unfortunately a lot of the old nintendo systems don't work anymore, but thanks to people modding players for them we can still enjoy them. The weirdest mod I have found is the Super Nintoaster created by http://www.stupidfingers.com/. This would be good to have as long as you don't mix it up with a real toaster and accidentally burn your favourite SNES game.


SB6309 Lighter Phone

Years ago cars had lighters in them, now you can have one in your phone. It's called the SB6309 Lighter Phone. It uses the cell phone's battery to light your cigarettes. I don't smoke but if you do, you can buy one here:



Roller Mouse

Noriko-san

If you sleep on the bus or train you can buy this. It's a sleep mask called the Noriko-san which has a scrolling display on it to tell people where your stop is so they can wake you up at the right time. Smallest Trackball

Back in my first post I showed you the world's first trackball. I have now found the smallest trackball. It was made by a company named Donya (another japanese company). Wii Remote Bowling Bowl accessory

A lot of accessories have been made for the wii since it came out. This is the weirdest one I have found. It's a bowling ball to help you out in Wii Sports or other bowling games. I could see this causing a lot more accidents than the Wii Remote did. You can buy one here:

Klingon Keyboard

Fans of Star Trek will like this one. A few months ago a company named Cherry made a Klingon keyboard. All the keys are written in the klingon language but it still types in English. You can buy one here:



Remember Ring

If you have trouble remembering your wedding anniversary than you'll want the Remember Ring. 24 hours before the anniversary it'll start to slowly burn your finger every hour for the whole day. Zihotch Retro Phone Watch

This is the Zihotch Retro Phone Watch. It's made to look like a really old phone. This watch has no hands so instead you have to dial 117 and it will tell you the time. It only tells time in Japanese though. You can buy one here:

Takumi Crash Calculator

Here's another weird product from Japan. This calculator is called the Takumi Crash calculator. Unlike most calculators this one will just crash whenever it feels like it. I don't know why they decided to make the keys look like Tetris though. Unfortunately you can't buy it because the site (http://www.idea-frames.us/) that sells it is under maintenance.

Facebank

Here's another product from Japan called Facebank. It's a bank made to look like a face except it has no eyes. When you put coins in it smells them and then opens it's mouth and eats them. You can buy one here:

Terminator DVD player

Back in 2003 a japanese company named Suntory had a contest to win Terminator 3 stuff and one of the prizes was a dvd player shaped like the terminator's head. They only made 500 copies of it and they were all only sold in Japan.

Trypticon

Fans of Transformers will like this one. It's a computer mouse that can transform into a Trypticon (some kind of robotic dinosaur). It's not wireless though so you would have to try and transform this thing while it's connected to the computer or you will have to unplug the mouse. Baketan 2 Ghost Radar cell phone charm

Today you can do a lot with cell phones. Now you can detect ghosts with it by attaching this cell phone charm called the Baketan 2 Ghost Radar cell phone charm. All you have to do is push the button. Barack Obama Ipod Dock

In January 2009 a company called Ozaki (which usually makes stuffed animals) made an ipod dock with speakers that had Barack Obama attached to it dancing and singing. I don't know why they decided to put pink fabric on it though.

Dancing Lamp

This is a new electronic that just came out a while ago. It's a lamp that dances to "Gonna Make You Sweat" which most people would know as Everybody Dance Now. If you're trying to annoy people at the office you can buy one here.



Otasuketto

Today I found something not made from Nintendo.In 2006 Japan started selling a cigarette case that helps you quit smoking. You would put your cigarettes into it and then you would have to set up a certain amount of time on a timer that was attached to it. You wouldn't be able to open it again until the timer runs out. I don't think this would help people quit because they could just set the timer to 1 second and start smoking again or you would just learn not to put cigarettes in that box.
