Remote Control Mop

It took me all year but I've finally found something that's weird enough for this site. I didn't update the site last year because I couldn't find any electronics or gadgets that people thought were strange. Well anyway, here is a cleaning tool for the lazy people. It's a remote control mop. It comes with a controller that kind of looks like a Playstation controller to control it. I don't know if you can make this thing go as fast as those remote control cars though. You can buy it here:

Television Remote Control Wristwatch

If you keep forgetting where you put the remote control than you might want this remote. Just enter in the three digit code for each device and it's ready to use. Or if you don't want it as a remote you can also use it as a digital watch. You can buy one here:

Dual Sided Remote

Later this year Samsung is releasing a new remote that has buttons on both sides. It will have the normal buttons on top and a QWERTY keyboard on the back. I don't think it's a good idea because you could accidentally hit a button on the back while holding it or if you set it down on the table.

Sofa Pillow Remote Control

Whenever people lose their tv remotes the first place they usually look is under the pillow on the sofa. Now you can use that pillow as a tv remote. It's a universal remote so it also works with your dvd and blu-ray players. If you don't use it for at least 60 seconds it disables the remote so you can use the pillow to sleep on. I can see a whole bunch of people not using this to sleep on though because you could probably accidentally change the channel while you're lying down. You can buy one here:

Sichestes Fahrradschloss

If you want to keep your bike from being stolen now you can. A German company has just made a bike collar that you can attach to your bike around a pole and then use a remote control to move the bike up the pole to keep thieves from taking it. I can't find anywhere to buy this so if you want one you'll probably have to find it or make one yourself.

Soccer Ball Remote

If you're always throwing the tv or dvd remote around then you'll want this. It's a remote shaped like a soccer ball. Unfortunately I can't find any information of who invented it. Right now it's out of stock but here's the link to buy it if they get more of them:

Remote Control Flying Millenium Falcon

In Star Wars episodes 4-6 you saw the Millenium Falcon. Now somebody has actually invented a real flying toy of it. Unfortunately I can't find any information on who invented it or a release date for this toy yet.

Remote Control Ramen Noodle Cart

A lot of people would remember back on their eighth birthday (or younger) that they wanted a remote control car and when they got it, they realized after five minutes this isn't as good as the commercial made it look. Now you can buy a remote control Ramen Noodle Cart which in real life doesn't move unless it's being towed. It's only for sale in Japan so here's the link for the people that live there:
